Gegenstand der Ausschreibung

Subject of the tender is the IT Infrastructure assessment: Construction of a Data Centre, Network Security and Servers Capacity in line with International Standards. AFRIPOL should be able to develop and securely manage all necessary continental databases concerning reference-search and data analysis. To achieve this goal, AFRIPOL has decided to conduct an IT assessment in three operational areas:

1. Assessment for IT security and network requirements (perimeter and inner security);

2. Assessment for identification of servers" capacity (CPU, storage, memory, backup options).

3. Assessment for construction of last generation server room(s) with cooling, electrical power, respective reserve diesel engines and physical security (access control and CCTV); redundancy capabilities. Recommendations on possible additional solutions e.g. on the use of cloud solutions.
