Development and Conducting of virtual exchange sessions for Pan-African Cross-Linkage for Digital Centers in Africa

Gegenstand der Ausschreibung

Digital Transformation Centres (DTC) are physical and virtual hubs in African
countries that drive the digital transformation and promote digital solutions for
sustainable development "Made in Africa". Here, innovation, technical knowhow,
participation, IT knowledge, research and entrepreneurial spirit are bundled
under one roof. Digital solutions generated and tested in Africa and national
experience in their development and implementation have not yet been efficiently
shared, scaled and used for the pan-African policy dialogue on digitisation. Digital
solutions distributed across the African continent are not automatically localised
and transferred but must be supported by a systematic and structured exchange
of knowledge and experience and joint learning between policy-makers in Africa
in order to create a common pan-African knowledge base. In December 2020 a
conference was held as a kick-off for a regular exchange between the DTC and
their partners from the political level, hubs, start-up-networks, the private sector,
civil society etc. Based on this, there will be regular exchange formats for the DTC
and their partners. These need to be set up and carried out.
